Austria School Holidays 2024 and 2025
This page contains a calendar of all 2024 and 2025 school holidays in Austria. These dates are unlikely to be modified by the Federal Ministry of Education. However, please check back regularly for any updates that may occur.
School holidays in Austria consist of 5 major holidays – Christmas (December), semester break (February), Easter (March/April), Pentecost (May/June) and the summer holidays (July to August). Since the long summer holiday from the beginning of July to the end of August is the busiest time for travel within Austria and around Europe, most families ensure that travel plans are made well in advance.
